Mangaluru: St Aloysius Campus, Light House has claimed its award for environment rights, yet a lot of changes is yet to take place. The management is trying their best to make an eco friendly campus, but there has been a drastic change since the years of its foundation. When it comes to waste, people hardly care where it goes and how it is being dumped. People dump all kinds of waste into dustbins around the place oblivious to the hazard caused due to lack of waste management. When plastic is burnt, the polluted air causes tremendous problems for resident and students in the area. “College should have a positive ambience and playground and open space should be kept neat and tidy,” says Lorenzo Majeo, a student.
